Butlersland Development
Work got under way in our new Pitch Development in the season 2001/2002. The first pitch and all weather training facilities were developed as early as possible and were in use Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the different teams.
4 new workers on a Community Employment Scheme, employed by Ross Celtic were working on a one week on , one week off basis. This was a great boost to the club and enabled work to be done that we as members would not be in a position to do. The club are indebted to Frank O Neill who supervised on the club's behalf. Fencing was erected to a very high standard and was sourced by Gary Dalton at at very competitive rate.
Advertising signs were also made to a very high standard and are still currently being displayed. This adds a more professional look to the pitch. Luckily we were able to secure sponsorship of these signs for fixed periods. Great credit is due to the work of Mr. Dick Butler on this matter.
